Project Lead | Narrative Designer

Play as Mari, a punk rock siren princess, who’s hell-bent on playing her concert no matter the cost. As she escapes the palace and travels through the seedy undersea world, use your ear and “bloodsong” to match musical pitch in order to defeat rogue enemies and solve puzzles along the way.

My Role:

  • Steered the creative vision as the product owner for musical pitch-matching game (published on Steam); ensured seamless alignment of mechanics, features, and assets with the intended theme and tone.

  • Devised narrative beats to effectively teach players a complex musical mechanic, and wrote all dialogue lines and end credits song lyrics.

  • Developed and delivered informative status update presentations to effectively communicate game pitch, design changes, project scope, and risk management.

When the museum’s artwork comes to life at night chaos ensues! As an apprentice curator, you must put everything back to normal before the Head Curator returns, using only the clues given and the advice of the magically talking Mona Lisa, who proves much sassier than she’s worth…

My Role:

  • Designed 10+ puzzles with the intention to spark a genuine interest in art history through comedic elements, resulting in increased engagement and learning outcomes.

  • Wrote all dialogue lines and voiced acted as Mona Lisa.

  • Utilized Trello to manage a team of artists, designers and programmers for 2-week educational game prototype challenge. Delivered status presentation as seen here.


Hallow goodbye

Game Designer | Narrative Designer

Someone is found dead during a high school Halloween party--with the final 3 suspects in custody, it's up to you to solve the case and prove that a murderer is never left unpunished.

Engine: Unreal 4

My Role:

  • Designed original mystery story, and developed evidence puzzles to reveal clues to player along the way. Map of clues and how they are unlocked seen here.

  • Wrote all dialogue lines, including all branching dialogue options for narrator and supporting cast of characters.

  • Designed and created all UI elements.

  • Utilized Trello to manage a team of artists, designers and programmers for 2-week story-based game prototype challenge.
